Eastern Ranges Bowls Region
Champion of Champions
On Sunday 3rd February our Club Champions will be representing Berwick in the Champion of Champion Singles event.
Jean Fothergill is playing at Croydon commencing at 1.00pm.
Peter Hodgson is playing at Mooroolbark commencing at 10.00am.
We wish Jean and Peter all the very best and we encourage members to get along to support them.
Men’s Handicap Singles
Round 1 has been played and results are on the Website and displayed on the Notice Board. With the heat affecting play last Thursday 24th February, there has been some delay in the progress of this event, but next Round will be Thursday 24th January. (Enquiries: Jeff Parker, Jim Weir)
Draw has been published on the Website and Notice Board with Rounds 1 and 2 to be played on Sunday 10th February. (Enquiries: Ray Findlay, Rob McGrath)
Men’s and Women’s Proportional 100 up
Draw has been posted on the Notice Board and Website. Rounds 1 and 2 will be played on Sunday 3rd February. (Enquiries: Bruce Shearer, David Bond)
Open Novice Singles
Entry forms available shortly. To be played as a Round Robin event on Sunday 24th March (Enquiries: Jeff Janetzki)

On Sunday 26th January we conducted the SKINS tournament. It was a very successful and enjoyable day with very positive feedback from members and visitors. We congratulate and thank the organizers Gary Wastell and John Majkut and their band of helpers.
The event welcomed 42 teams with players from 15 clubs. Three teams shared the first prize pool of $600 with two teams from Berwick (Tom Livingstone and Lauchlan Livingstone, and the team of Trevor Tormey and Trevor Norton) among the winners.

Entries are now being taken for the OPEN PAIRS to be conducted Saturday 13th April 2019.

Members are encouraged to get some copies of the Entry forms either from Allen, or here, and distribute them to players from other clubs, particularly on Pennant days.
You can help make this a great day for Berwick Bowling Club and this is just one way that you can contribute without any real effort.

Personal coaching sessions can be arranged with individual coaches.
