Club Championship Fours

The Club Championship Handicap Fours started on Sunday the 8th under grey and threatening skies.

Fifty Six of our members entered the first Club Championship being held this season. Games were played over 18 live ends and all sides were not to exceed a combined handicap of 15 points. Our thanks go out to Leon Muir and Mike Hodges for their efforts with convening the event.

Round 1

Difficult conditions with swirling, blustery wind greeted the competitors in the morning session. The games were a war with the wind with the following results:

Round 2

The afternoon winds continued until the rain came to further challenge all players in round 2. The results were:

Semi Finals

The Semi Finals are scheduled for Friday 13/9 at 17:30 with Hodgson to play Fothergill and Anderson to play Down.
